Healthy refreshing road


Higashikoen is a Japanese-style park with the statue of Emperor Kameyama as a symbol, forming an oasis in the center of the city, and is a place where children and the elderly can enjoy and relax.
It is a green park where plums, azalea forests and various kinds of plants are cultivated and flowers bloom in each season.
The park road (760 meters) has been set up as a refreshing road so that you can enjoy walking and use it as a place to improve your health and interact with the community.
The distance sign is displayed every 100 meters. Please use it according to your goals.

To improve your health, keep walking for at least 10 minutes. As for the amount of exercise, consider the total exercise time per week. Ideally, you should do it every day rather than all at once to achieve the best outcome. Do it at least three times a week.

Walking speed
Standard pace Male     : 100 meters / minute
Female : 90 meters / minute

The point is to walk a little slower than the speed you normally walk. The speed is such that you can walk comfortably or feel a little tight.


Stretching
Before and after you start walking, be sure to do preparatory exercises and organizing exercises.

Choosing shoes is very important factor to ease the burden on your body when walking. Please pay attention to the size of the material and confortness when choosing shoes.
